Connecting with others deepens our faith.

Studying the Word of God and connecting with other people, we believe are an essential part of our discipleship journey. We have several opportunities for you to explore here at Bremerton UMC!

Studying the women of the Old Testament with Pastor Heather based on the book Preaching the Women of the Old Testament: Who They Were and Why They Matter by Lynn Japinga.

this study takes an in-depth look at the women we find featured in the Old Testament. Author Lynn Japinga provides an interpretation of these women's stories and how they can relate to our lives today.  Pastor Heather presents her insights and then the group has a discussion.

Current Book: The Unjust Steward by Miguel Escobar

"An absolute must read for anyone who has ever wondered what the Bible really says about economic injustice and the wealth gap." -Kelly Brown Douglas, Dean, Episcopal Divinity School at Union Theological Seminary

The Unjust Steward presents a compelling case for a profound overhaul in the way the church and its people value the poor and transform into servants of God instead of stewards of wealth.

This group meets to discuss the assigned reading.
